The Injen Technology Heat Shield/Splash Guard air filter cover is made of polished aluminum for great looks and durability. This air filter cover can be used as a heat shield in under hood air intake applications to reduce air intake temperatures for more power. For cold air applications, where the air filter may be exposed to the elements, this air filter cover can act as an effective splash guard to protect the air filter. This unit will fit all air filters with a 2.5", 2.75", or 3.0" mouth.

NOTE: This item is not compatible with the following Injen intakes: IS1105, RD1675, IS1830, IS1890, IS1891, RD1869, RD1979, RD1985, RD1990. Before you purchase a Heat shield be sure to look at your set up and make sure that there is enough room to fit a heat shield under your hood.
