Before You Begin
First off, the oven trick WILL NOT WORK, for this DIY. Mostly used items for this mod consists of a Dremel tool with cutting disks. Also, you might also want a pair of gloves and some old clothes, PLEASE BE CAREFUL, you can cut yourself very easily and dust from the plastic gets everywhere.

Step 1
First thing is to remove the outer lens using the Dremel tool with the cutting disk. Place a screw in the piece you are going to remove first, hold the screw and cut around it (holding the screw avoids the piece from falling into the lamp). After removing the first initial piece, use Dremel to score the lens and remove the rest of the lens in pieces.

Step 2
After completely removing the lense there will be a red border were the lens was attached to the rest of the tail light. Using the Dremel tool and a preferred Dremel bit (which ever you feel comfortable using). Now Dremel off all the excess red lense around the border. NOTE: the inside chrome bezel of lamp is extremely easy to scratch, please use caution.

Step 3
If you plan on leaving the bezels chrome skip this step. Using a low adhesive tape, such as painters blue tape, to tape off the sections that require proper light reflection. Make sure to tape everything so that no paint gets inside the reflection area. Once the painting is complete, let the lamps sit overnight at room temperature.

Step 4
The aftermarket clear lenses are made a little too big. This requires you to take a sharpie pen and trace along the edged that need to be cut. Once done, cut the excess off.

Step 5
Now take the backing off of the tape strips located on the back of the clear lens and affixed the clear lens to the tail light assembly. Using black silicone sealant go along the edges of the lens, before doing this you should tape the edges so that excess silicone will not get onto the lense. Use black electrical tape to tightly hold the lens to the rest of the assembly. Let dry over night.
